Available Biosecurity Materials

There are useful reference materials available both on this site and through the AgBiosecurity information service.

The final reports of the two recently-completed projects – the Poultry Industry Disease Financial Risk Management Program, and the Multi-Species Livestock Disease Risk Project – will be found in the Information section of the site.

Detailed Biosecurity Protocols for Poultry Industry Services workers are also available in the Documents section. Poultry Industry Services include Catching Crews, Live-Haul Truckers, Feed Suppliers, Fuel Suppliers, Barn Cleaners and Washers, and Manure Managers. Poultry Processors’ yard activities have also been included. Additional Services participants, and materials for other Livestock sectors will be included as they become available.

In addition, background information, including a Poultry Disease Summary and a list of Recommended Disinfectants, are available for download.

Printed copies of all of these materials, plus laminated, one-page Checklists of Biosecurity Protocols for each Service sector, and an informative poster of Poultry Diseases are also available by phoning the AgBiosecurity information service at 1-888-767-9488 ext. 211.
